Welcome to Daya Educational Trust

In Nov. 2011, Mr. Dilip Kumar, one of the founders of Daya Educational Trust, Daya Educational Trust (DET) is a non-profit organization committed towards the quality computer education to young generation living in villages. The organization aims to provide three types of training: -
(a) Basic computer literacy
(b) Computer as a tool for learning in schools and home
(c) Training in hardware.

Currently DET are running 3 computer centers at different location that provide basic computer literacy. Around 115 students are learning computers in different computer centres through this program. DET and another collaborating organization are also running computer education program in schools in rural areas. Currently this program is operating in 3 schools.
Many students get job opportunities after going through the DET computer education program and have gotten jobs in reputed firms, schools and computer centres. In the coming year two more centers will be started and the program will also include Web designing & Adobe Photoshop training. DET is also in the process of publishing a book on MS-office assignments which will be provided to students for practical work during the course. DET has a simple aim, it is to help children, young people and Students in Bihar to get a good education. DET has been working to improve education in Bihar (India).
